Where I am on Long Island we caught almost 15 inches with 4-foot drifts but the lights stayed on and we had plenty of good groceries. The house cats ate well when not laid up in warm beds.

I dug a path to the garage and Garfield and Catty Patty were A-OK. Within a day Ginger and Nasty Mom were here to resume regular hot meals with their kids and grandkids. The cats laid up for the storm and had plenty of fat in their winter "belly bags" to miss some meals.

Yesterday with sunshine and temps near 30 Garfield and Catty Patty were on the deck out back catching some winter sun after a good breakfast. Healthy cats are tough as nails with surviving well.
