Thank you Barbara. The jockey is Charlie Amaro, a bug 112lbs.

I hope she gets the announcer excited as last time and he starts calling her starpockets

We go for our gate card this week and then another work next week. No real work this weekend due to the excessive heat on Saturday in which a poor horse supposedly dropped dead

A bad start out of the gate plus an inexperenced apprentice jockey resulted in a 3rd place finish. Not bad considering we were last up the backstretch and way wide at the turn. The winner was an allowance horse dropping down to the claiming ranks.

Watched the replay and except for a tough start horse ran a respectable race to catch a share.

Thanks, I talked to our trainer today. He says she lost her front shoe, probably at the bump coming out of the gate. Next time.
