After the third race Mister Mittens came upstairs and jumped into my lap while I was at my desk studying for the 4th race. She stared at me with those large green eyes and I leaned forward to catch her message. She rubbed her head against mine and I whispered, "Yes, I will feed you, my lovely."

I got up and the cat took off like a rocket to get downstairs to the kitchen.

I set her up with a good dose of whitefish and tuna.

One would think that an old-fart U.S. Marine of my age who has been around a lot of blocks would not be taken in by a young girl that wants something but you would be wrong.

Just keep laughing, I know I am. Damn, I love that goddamn cat.

Cats are great and smart! She knows which side "her tuna fish is buttered on!

Going into the 6th race she's napping close by with a full belly and now she ignores me.

She got what she wanted from me and I didn't even get a phone number or a cheap grope.
