Yes I know that cats have 9 lives. Yes I know that cats have great athletic ability. Yes I know that cats are slow to show affection to humans.

OK, here's what's tough to understand. Upstairs at my desk and PC sometimes I hear a small "thwack" and it's Momcat, Mister Mittens, standing on the top off my office chair behind my head. I have no idea how she lands upon such a small target from the floor. She never stumbles or falls. She nuzzles the back of my old head or just rubs a front paw on one of my shoulders for a moment or two. And most times she then just leaps away.
