The escape from Long Island is something to see.

Single-family houses in a lot of places now hold multi-families that do not speak English. The kids have to go to school and the taxpayers provide the ride. We also kick in for the medical and welfare if there is an American born here illegally.

The young productive people from Long Island are fleeing to take their educations and work ethics away to places that do not tax them into the sewer. The gangbangers on welfare and the illegals love it here nonetheless.

Count me as one of them who is on the way out. Either next year or the year after that, I'm outta here.

When you Look at NY Population pay attention to Average Income . See Q/P has it right . While Population stay the same or increases in NY , The Average Income Is Dropping Substantially . The Taxpayers are Being Replaced by the Non Tax Payers and the More one Makes the More They are Taxed to Pay for the Non Tax Payers . What is it now ? 1 out of 6 Adults in New York are recieving some kind of Government Subsidy. Thats not counting normal Social Security , Toss them in probably 1 in 3
