Not long ago I went downstairs to grab a beer. My wife was reading a book on the sofa with the kitten Shiloh snuggled up against her left thigh napping. The other kitten Trouble was draped over her right thigh catching some sleep. My wife put her book down and began petting both kittens.

I ran away, knowing that the bride's next move was to grab the razor-sharp blade from the table next to her. I didn't want to see what was going to happen.

On a serious note, I'm going to have 3 cats and "Litterbox Duty" for a long time to come. And it's OK by me. Scooping cat crap is like digging for treasure - you never know what you're going to come up with.

Fast forward an hour and change. The wife is watching a Touched By An Angel DVD on the big screen in the living room and the kittens are on either side of her scoping the action. Jeez, I love Della Reese.

Check Della from when I was boy when she absolutely crushed this beautiful melody from Puccini. That woman ran this tune to the top.

Angel Tess had a set of pipes that rocked the charts. This girl could sing and made appearances with the likes of Duke Ellington and other great musicians. She was the real deal and Don't You Know still makes me thrill to a great voice laid into a fantastic song.
