It's been raining for two straight days and I think we may not see any lawn races for Wednesday's card at Belmont but this tornado BS is getting old. I saw one in Kansas 44 years ago and it ain't pretty. Right now at 11:30 a.m. it's overcast and drizzly but some bad stuff is supposed to be coming in from the south and west.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH 686 IN EFFECT UNTIL 6PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS: IN CONNECTICUT THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT FAIRFIELD IN NEW JERSEY THIS WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN NORTH EAST NEW JERSEY BERGEN, ESSEX, HUDSON, PASSAIC, UNION IN NEW YORK THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST EAST NEW YORK BRONX, KINGS (BROOKLYN), NASSAU, NEW YORK (MANHATTAN), ORANGE, PUTNAM, QUEENS RICHMOND (STATEN ISLAND) ROCKLAND, WESTCHESTER

Helluva video, OG. Right now I have the Weather Channel and my old gal pal Heather the Blonde is at the anchor desk. She's telling us some real bad stuff is coming. And Mister Mitters is pacing all over the house antsy like.
CBS TV news at noon in New York leads off with the weather.
Story #2 is better. An air conditioner falls out of a 6th floor window and hits somebody.
