The "debate" tonight was a farce: More or less a forum for the 2 major parties and 5 that don't have a Chinaman's chance in hell to belabor the obvious. It's too bad that it wasn't a 1-on-1 showdown between Andrew and Carl, as the back-and-forth would have made things interesting. Instead, we get 90 minutes of Jimmy McMillan's crazy beard (from the "Rent Is Too Damn High" Party) speaking at 200mph, and Kristin Davis, the madam who could have passed as one of Spitzer's call-girls. If anyone was looking for a game-changer tonight, forget it.

The clown show that is New York politics was never more apparent than what we saw last night.

The NY papers told us this morning that Jimmy McMillan from The Rent Is 2 Damn High Party hasn't paid rent for years. One paper told us that he pays a paltry $800 without an increase for years.

I loved the Agent Orange gloves.
