I see the ole man got the depressing Blue out for the long meet. Winter is now here as far as I am concerned.

But, with the "big casino money" flowing to NY, the AQU inner meet should be OK.. I anticipate "few 4/5 horse fields". The AQU main track meet is usually good...even on the turf if the weather holds But yes, winter is close...12/21

The shift to Aqueduct means that the turf sprint season in NY has concluded. NYRA does not card turf sprints on this tight turf course.

We don't get the Display Handicap on New Year's Eve anymore either.
And we don't get caulks thanks to the Rubber Ramp over-the-top tree-and-horse huggers.
