Are "flannel sheets", I assume you North Easteners are familiar with them. As it got cool here this week, we got ours out of storage. Very comfortable and extra warm, sleeping longer.

Try them and turn down your theromstat a degree. Enjoy tonight.

I sleep on Egyptian cotton 600 thread count sheets. Summer or winter they are nice and cool. I prefer a cooler sleeping surface. When it gets cold, I pile on the blankets. Flannel I find uncomfortable and turns my bed into an oven.

You think flannel is warm. When I was a kid we visited my aunt in northwestern Canada, she had covers made out of horse hide.
