I woke up this morning to find my kitchen table loaded up with crumbs. My package of corn muffins had been pilfered. The plastic wrap had been torn by claws and all my muffins were missing their tops. The tomcat Trouble had muffin crumbs in his whiskers but is denying any involvement.

Trouble, aptly named.

Ate the best part of the muffins.

He's sleeping peacefully upon my wife's bed this afternoon. If you pet him while he's sleeping he will lift his head, lick your hand once, and then go back to sleep.

He's not a bad guy.

Only his once-feral Mom gets upset at times when petted while napping. She used to live on the street and can awaken with a start when touched.
