Boston is a pathetic team with pathetic fans. I hate the SUX almost as much as the Phills, Braves, and Yankmees.

As much as I share your dislike for our northern neighbors, Boston is a great town with rabid fans who are passionate about their teams. It's what makes the rivalry great between Beantown & New Yawk. Today most fans seem to have lost "perspective" that the games are for "fun". With the explosion of so many media outlets and constant scrutiny of the games it has led to misplaced significance as to the importance of athletes and sports. You'd swear with all the coverage we are witnessing major tactical campaigns to capture prized lands or resources in a holy grail quest. It's insane.

Only thing worse than a Boston fan is a Yankme fan.

Cmon 1/8th the Fact that NY and Boston Fans are Fanatics is GREAT . Go to LA and watch the Dodger Fans show up in the 3rd , Socialize and Go home in the 7th with their Pitcher Tossing a No Hitter

Just consider it a gift from the Men in Blue .

By the way , I have seen tons of Games at Fenway . The Only Time in the past that a Ball is Not in Play off the Top of the Monster is if it stays out of the Park or a Fan interfered . If in the Net Gone , If on the Field , In Play. The Play Called Saturday Night is the FIRST of its kind . Hopefully in the Offseason they Remove that Stupid Line

You want a Homerun , You hit the Ball OUT OF the Park !! I remember being at a Game whe the Ball Hit the Flagpole in Center Field , Thirty Feet up the Pole . A No Question , Definate Goner . When it hit the Pole Boomeranged Back in and was CAUGHT for an OUT . Heck Ole Piersall once Shimmied the Pole and Kept on in the Park .

If I'm a Centerfielder in Most Parks and I go up over the Fence to Get a Ball and It gets Put back into the Playing field is it a Home Run ??

Q/P got it Right Again

Fair this Year , Next Year Theo will have that Line Removed . That Way Any Ball That Clears the Wall Get the Ring Up . Anything Else IN Play

Long Run this game won't Matter Much . We Bosox Fans ALL Hope to See the Mets in the World Series . Choke Artists Will Give The American League a Victory .
