The momcat Mister Mittens is a good spayed house cat now but she still has some "wild" within her and she's perched at a window here looking for old tomcat husbands and street relatives I suppose. A thin feral street cat mother at one and a chubby house cat at two. While in my lap most days she can hiss and flash claws if I'm not rubbing her neck and shoulders just right but she never strikes before laying her head back down.
Her son Trouble was downstairs at the saloon plopped out on a nice blanket. 1/8 Pole lives down there and uses the floor as a place to keep his belongings.
And then there was Sweet Babycakes. She was up on the Murphy bed and just happy to be alive. After I snapped this shot I petted her head and as she rolled over I ran a hand down her side and over her back and along her side again. She laid out and arched her back with all of her claws extended (they can tear flesh apart) as I rubbed her some more. Jeez, this little gentle girl cat is heart grabber.
