I had just fed the cats a hearty lunch and the momcat Mister Mittens was crashed upon the Castro up in the man cave. The bride gets home from shopping with loads of cat toys for Christmas and treats and a cooked lobster for the cats.

With all the excitement and joy that a cat with a full belly can muster Mister Mittens woke up to listen to the hoopla. She yawned, arched her back and walked in a circle.



Then she crashed for some more sleep.



And then she went super-unconscious upstairs with me into a deep sleep. This is goodbye, gone "I'm warm & comortable & safe" sleep.



You can't herd cats and when they know they own you you can't get them excited either.
