I had been losing money with the horses all day. And then the tomcat showed up in the man cave. He was doing figure-8s all around my ankles while rubbing up against me and warbling with joy. Then he laid out while I was angry with losing and so I grabbed a bat. Finally! I had a living creature against whom I could take out my frustrations. Naaaah! I rubbed his belly, his back, his head, his neck, his chest, and the side of his face while he kept his eyes closed and purred while his front paws were flared out and his enormous razor-sharp claws dug into the old carpeting. Jeez, he's a nice cat and a thrill to have in the house. He doesn't eat much and because of it can leap more than 7 feet off his haunches indoors. Got no clue what he can do outdoors.

He's just a nice fellow, Wooley.
Every morning he jumps into my bed and stares at me after breakfast. I toss blankets and covers over him and rub him up while he goes nuts with joy. When I turn him loose he goes back to the middle of the bed while I straighten everything out and he waits to get buried and rubbed up again. And roughed up again.
He's a sweet animal and impossible to dislike. When I'm going upstairs he'll race up and flop on a stair in front of me. I'll reach down and rub him up and pet him. As I step over him I catch a paw swipe with some claws into the back of a sock or pajama bottom but never through skin. He's just a nice huge tomcat house cat. I have no idea how he doesn't puncture me with the claws sometimes but he never does.
