Mister Mittens is snoozing in this photo. She is perched upon a sofa and just wants to be alone for rest while waiting for me to make a kitchen noise with her feed dish so that she can wake up and bolt for food.

That "sphinx position" is a mind blower. The cat is partially asleep for rest but keeps most of it's brain working to stay alert. One time some decades ago at a bar when I was young I went "sphinx" at a 30th Avenue saloon in Astoria, Queens with the Irish whiskey and got placed upon the sidewalk by Pharoah and the bartender. |
