As animal lovers and not formerly "cat people" (we had great dogs for decades) I am just happy that my wife and I have done good things for some street cats. You can't save them all but you can catch great joy by knowing that you had the means to save a few. And the cats are good clean creatures.
Anyway, the momcat Mister Mittens is blown out with sleep this afternoon while I sit at my desk not 6 feet away diddling a horse or two at Aqueduct while sipping a cold one now and again.
