I always check up on the kitty cats before I go to bed.

I found the tomcat Trouble perched at the downstairs saloon peering out to the driveway for any feral cats that might walk by.

I found the momcat Mister Mittens eating before she bugs the *&%$ out of me all night in bed with her rump in my hip and her paws in my face before dawn.

And then I found the Sweet Babycakes prowling around the bathroom construction site looking for mice, rats and birds. That little girl is a gutty creature.

Looks like the Mittens' family has the territory staked out...

BTW...does Trouble get a "new window in the new bath?

No, Wooley. In the late 80s when things were fantastic and I was a tad younger I laid up a $6,000 loan to have all the old 1947 windows replaced with the best in the world. I used to hump and haul wooden-framed storm windows and screens in and out twice a year. I think the house had 25 or 26 windows (basement included).

The loan got paid off quickly and the double-paned Anderson windows are OK to this day. People used to gather in front of my home just to watch me get up on a ladder and take down the enormous storm window that covered the living room as a single biggie. Wagers were made about me falling off the ladder or breaking the glass. Those windows were 1947 technology and I was a 1948 fellow so I would do my "window stuff" twice a year. Being in my 30s was a great help then. And no, nothing ever got broken.
