Some time ago I used to wonder how the tomcat Trouble got by the cheap venetian blinds at the downstairs saloon to go perch at his favorite spot to see the driveway. One day some time ago I caught him leaping with a loud warble and using his right front to bat away the left lower corner while using his other three to get up there while flying through the air. It was a violent crash with all claws out and hackles up but the cat could do it.

He's up there tonight with my son not six feet away at his computer gear but the tomcat has learned a thing or two according to John.

Now the cat stands atop the leather sofa on his two back legs and stretches and moves aside the lower left corner of the blinds with his right front. He bats it away and in an instant drops a smidge with the two backs and leaps gently into his perch while the blinds come back to bat him in the ass.

Yup, cats are dumb.
