My old disgusting checkerboard lap blanket that used to be an expensive lap blanket for the classy wife years ago found its way to be being draped over my recliner this afternoon while I diddled Gulfstream Park. I thought about laundering it but caught some live horses in action and didn't want to go to the laundry room in the basement.

The "Sweet Babycakes" galloped upstairs to look out some windows and jump on some perches before going off to sleep somewhere after a fine lunch. And then the little girl cat saw the lap blanket draped over my recliner. She screamed with a yelp of some kind of cat joy.

Well, with great happiness the almost 5-year-old runt kitten Shiloh jumped into my recliner and burrowed ass-first to get underneath the old lap blanket. I went by her all day back and forth to go downstairs for a pee and/or a beer but she was thrilled to be sleeping in a nice warm place. This little girl cat just makes your heart melt and feel better about everything just by being near you.
