Yeah, I sit in it a lot to read books, newspapers and stare at a nice HD TV. And yes, I sometimes have the three house cats in the recliner (one at a time) for rubbings, pettings, brushings and ear rubs.
Today on Derby Day I fed them well but this evening I am at my desk up in the old dirty filthy mancave not ten feet away from the recliner. I understand that the momcat Mister Mittens will be dancing on my groin and head butting me in my bed shortly after 4:30 a.m. but I am wondering about the three cats snoring in my recliner - Mister Mittens, her daughter Shiloh and her huge son Trouble. Cats don't love anybody but these three will lick my hand one time once a month if nobody's looking before they become cats again.
