I have had dogs all my life but as a cat person now I am in trouble with comparing dogs and cats. My border collie Susan was here for 19 years and 10 months while on an overlap the lady Rottweiler Sandy was here for 15 years. They were great girls, great dogs and great good companions. Great protectors too.

Today? I house an enormous gelded male watchcat off the street. He's in the living room tonight and this snap plainly shows that he is on high alert - the ears are perked while he snores with a full belly shortly after the wife has brushed him from skull to back paws:
