Next month they will be five years of age but tonight they are four and in my recliner - the huge tomcat Trouble and his runt sister Shiloh (Sweet Babycakes).
She got pushed away by her three large kitten brothers when she tried to catch milk from her mother but she just kept scrambling back as the "runt". She'd get trashed by her larger brothers because there was not a lot of room into the teats of a small mother but Mister Mittens would her feed her boys to sleep with milk and then go grab her runt girl by the scruff and drag her off for a private feeding while exhausted. I'm not sure that could happen out on the street but the now-spayed momcat was one fantastic mother to her litter. The head butts, the groin dance and the paw swats (claws in) to my face before dawn now are OK with me. I love that goddamned whore street cat. The preggers momcat kitten Mister Mittens was eating mice, birds and garbage out on the street until I took her in.
