I went outside to gather up the platters and bowls that I had laid out this morning but with the side door open the house cat neutered tom Trouble was by my side and the feral tom Tuxedo came up the steps. They met on the top step. Tails were up in peace and Trouble went outside to mingle with strangers of his own kind while I cleaned the dinnerware.

Trouble was the biggest cat out there but kittens and toms and lady cats saw him as no threat and while I was playing "chef" in the kitchen the wife called Trouble back into the house.

That's Tuxedo, a gentle tom and a son of Emily. He's got a white star on his upper chest and yellow eyes. He comes when called and loves to be petted and rubbed. Tuxedo, Garfield and Emily and the most socialized of all the ferals.

Well, some were out of town on vacation.
