Margo is not "in season", "in heat" or anything else. The tom Sad Face is feeling his oats with the warm weather and is looking for action. Margo has nothing but fangs and claws for Sad Face and she has the size to fight off the attempted romance.

I've fed Sad Face for some years now and he just moans and groans and purrs when I meet him outside and walk up to him to rub his ears, skull and shoulders. He's a wild animal but understands that I was a Marine and used to be a wild animal too.
