I am 62 years older than the 7-year-old feral momcat Mister Mittens. I am absolutely thrilled that she shares "her" territory and "home" in the house I bought 39 years ago. She misses the street but has adapted well to controlling humans.

Full belly afternoon nap job:

She plopped down in my bed before dawn this morning - "Sphinx" to the right side of my head with her rump up against the headboard. She wanted a great breakfast.

In the dark she woke me up with head noodges via the left side of her face to the right side of mine. She also got me awake with her right front paw under my chin and across my face (soft pink pads with the claws not out). I got up to feed the cats but before I could get out of bed the momcat leaped over me and raced downstairs to to sit calmly by her feed dish.

Cats cannot play or outsmart or take advantage of any human that takes one or three into a home. Everybody knows that.
