After the 9th race at Aqueduct I came downstairs to feed the feral cats outside. The first thing I did was lay out that black bowl loaded up with dry Purina Cat Chow (I had a $2 coupon for the 16-pound bag) and a two-quart Pyrex bowl filled up with warm water. And then I laid out three platters of premium wet cat food on some platters. The feral cats were eating well.

And then I brought out that huge stainless steel "Great Dane" feed dish all loaded up with Chicken-of-the-Sea sardines and StarKist tuna (on sale for 88 cents a can, packed in water). The feral cats saw me, caught a sniff and got off their Friskies and 9Lives to get on the tuna and sardines. And yes, that's Nasty Mom in the background - there are younger cats eating here of both sexes that will not accept her hissing, nips and claws anymore when I bring out food. Nasty Mom ate after this photo was taken and I am happy to feed her but she will not be "Boss Bitch" anymore when I lay out food.

Thr "feral family" are not threatened. They live in a "park" in LI with olenty of "premium" food, water and shelter.
When did "Nasty Mom" leave...must of had a few Close calls" to make her feel easily threatened. Who is the mom of "Nasty Mom" who looks like she is related to Mr Mom

I don't care to get by my great-grandparents and have no desire to get into Ancestry.com but I do know that Nasty Mom is the mother of Emily and Ginger and the grandmother of just about every other cat in this photo.
