Some years back, we had the 1947 driveway, sidewalk and front walk replaced.
Fast forward to 2017 - our new home and car insurer was going to save us money but bang us a tad with no handrails out front. The teen bride and the teen Marine are both beyond 60 and Long Island catches ice and snow. The liability was laying a damper on the deal.
We're getting handrails out front but loose concrete from years of freeze/thaw had us wondering. Cousin Courtney caught wind of the predicament and informed her "Aunt Colleen" (my teen bride) that her company was coming to lay in a new front stoop that would last a century. There has been a crew here for two days and they're coming back Monday. They're building a monster. And super steel railings are coming.
Up the driveway the fellows left a mixer. The young tom Tuxedo and Bristol weren't bothered by it come dinner time.
I have no idea what kind of deal the bride worked out with Cousin Courtney and her husband Anthony but
