This runt female kitten had a shot to go to Hempstead Animal Shelter back in 2010. That was a place for killing dogs and cats back then after not a long time. Nobody wanted her. The bride and I were keeping the momcat Mister Mittens and her son Trouble. There was no place for Shiloh and the no-kill North Shore Animal League had her on a waiting list for intake that was going to drag on for months.

The wife and I kept feeding the runt female kitten while providing her with a warm bed, brushings and pettings. We even got her spayed at great expense while trying to get rid of her.

It's 2017 now and the runt girl kitten will be seven years old in July. The teen bride and I have decided that if nobody wants Shiloh by the time she's ten we may keep her as a house cat.

Shiloh doesn't want to leave my home for adoption to a new home. She's lucky I suppose. Nobody ever wanted her and she turned out to be the most gentle and sweetest cat that could ever be.

I gave her some pettings and a brushing before I took this photo. I thought about kissing her ears but didn't do it.

:) Easy to see her sweet disposition in her photos.

Gentle and sweet is the only way to describe her. Only does a soft meow when I'm preparing her lunch.
