Every cat in this photo has been trapped and spayed/neutered. Second from the left is the small female Catty Patty. Last night Barbara from cattrappers.org and I were able to trap Catty Patty's last kitten to be taken away for vet care and adoption at Last Chance Rescue (no-kill). I am happy to report that Catty Patty was not "nuts" today searching for her missing kitten. The kitten was born on April 3rd and was no longer in need of mother's milk. Catty Patty spent the afternoon with a full belly sleeping well in the shade of the gazebo out back.
The biggest thing in this snap is the black tom Tuxedo. He caught some damage looking for a girl before his time but as a neutered tom that's not going to happen anymore. Yeah, he's feral but he's a good-natured slob and he knows me from the day he was born. I pet him when I bring out food outside and he just feels good when I get near him. He'd have been a great good house cat for somebody who might love a gentle black cat.
No surprise to me that the cat has his tail straight up in peace and happiness. And yeah, that's Nasty Mom just to his right who grabbed some food off a platter before backing off to gobble. She has calmed down a bit after being spayed but she's still Nasty Mom and does not live on my property.
