Sliloh understands that nobody wanted her for adoption as a runt female kitten - a lot of people willing to adopt a kitten saw her. She had two brothers adopted as kittens from my home. The wife and I almost turned her out to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter but that would have been a death sentence. The North Shore Animal League (no kill) was overwhelmed with unwanted kittens during the summer of 2010 and Shiloh was placed on a long waiting list. The bride and I are still trying to get Shiloh "The Sweet Babycakes" placed into a good home but she's a 7-year-old kitten now and still unwanted.
We may have to keep this lovely gentle girl cat. Nobody wants her, she doesn't cause problems and she doesn't break the budget with food, treats and vet care. She has never bitten or scratched a human and is the only cat here that can do a "meow".
