It was 16 degrees when I laid out platters of microwaved wet cat food, warm water and some cans of tuna and sardines doused in heated water. The cats looking left are watching the super girl Ginger paw-swat her mother Nasty Mom who thinks she can just show up to eat everything.
Ginger bunks someplace else but she's here for most meals and is a tough cat. She doesn't let me pet her but she's a sweetheart with her kids and cousins. And the orphans she nursed when her sister Emily couldn't do it.
And no matter how she behaves, Nasty Mom always catches good meals here. Somebody nearby is feeding and providing shelter to Ginger. I'm not the only cat clown in the neighborhood.
none of their progeny would likely survive!
