The east end of Long Island got hammered but in southern Nassau County we got less than two inches of heavy slop glop. Ten minutes with the monster snow blower had the property by my hovel cleared.
It was snowing heavily this morning but the temperature was above freezing so the snow that stuck was "slush glop" that was easily cleared by my Yardmax blower. When I rolled up the garage door the feral felines were all loaded up in good dry beds but I knew they were hungry. By 12:30 P.M. I was able to bring out cat food and warm water for them.
And yeah, that's the always-happy Garfield and Tuxedo with their tails up. I had to rub them both before they'd eat.
