I was going back in the house Tuesday evening when I saw a cat trotting across the street (she looked both ways) and then she scampered up my driveway for a good meal. It was Nasty Mom and since she's one of the TNR cats from last spring she is always welcome at my house. She was born here and gave birth here before moving. She won't let me get near her but understands that I won't hurt her and that she can eat here.

That healthy plump belly has Nasty Mom through another winter. I still don't know where she lays up at at night but I do know that her belly comes from Friskies, 9Lives, StarKist, Chicken of the Sea and lots of leftover chops, steak, roast beef and other great meats from my house. Leftover scrambled eggs too.

She'll always eat well by trotting up my driveway. She's still a rip but before she was spayed she was a tough piece of street cat.
