Mister Mittens may be a spayed house cat for more than seven years but in the spring of 2010 she was a raped and pregnant feral street kitten trying to make a living on my block. She caught a "forever home" on that day in July, 2010 when she gave birth next to my front stoop and she slept all night last night jammed into my left hip smothered in some great old blankets but her face still has "street" written all over it. This female cat is still a wild animal that tolerates her human company and has adapted to being indoors but she is no "domesticated play pet". And I love her a lot for that.

And yeah, she's flopped on another one of my old B.O. sweatshirts.
