We did the corned beef and cabbage deal last weekend and no leftover corned beef could go out to the cats since it's loaded with spices and other strange things even after you boil it for hours. Cats are meat eaters and the felines outside prefer left-over roast beef, pork chops, lamb chops, ham and fish. After the getaway at Aqueduct on Sunday I laid out a good feed for the outside cats.

Sad Face wasn't here for breakfast but he was here this evening to dine on the chicken and tuna in the stainless steel feed dish. With him is the orange Garfield who is always happy with his tail up which is "catspeak" for mellow, confident and happy to see you.

Left to right up above is Mr. Orange, Nasty Mom, Bosco, Catty Patty, Tuxedo and Ginger. I'm three days away from getting by a second consecutive winter without losing an outside cat that I caught for TNR (trap, neuter, return), shelter and feed.

Nasty Mom is here every day for most of the day. I don't think she's catching any meals someplace else anymore. No matter, I take car of her.
