Back from the hospital yesterday and after an absence of almost nine days the tom Trouble let out a yell and jumped into bed with me. He sniffed the ugly incision under my t-shirt and then gently lay down next to it. He never left me all day. Last night I was OK with lounging in my recliner under a lap blanket and the cat stayed by me there too.

Cats do bond, do socialize and do sometimes become quite attached to their human flunkies. Not ten minutes ago I awoke from a nap with Shiloh next to my knee and the momcat with her rump rammed into my left shoulder and left side of my face.
