Back from the hospital yesterday and after an absence of almost nine days the tom Trouble let out a yell and jumped into bed with me. He sniffed the ugly incision under my t-shirt and then gently lay down next to it. He never left me all day.

Last night I was OK with lounging in my recliner under a lap blanket and the cat stayed by me there too.

Most people think, as did I, that cats are loners and don't care much but that's not the total truth. Cats do bond, do socialize and do sometimes become quite attached to their human flunkies.

Not ten minutes ago I awoke from a nap with Shiloh next to my knee and the momcat with her rump rammed into my left shoulder and left side of my face.
