The bride came in from the store earlier today and Mister Mittens slides out of the house.
She doesn't go far but when we got her back inside her kittens had all slid off to nap out somewhere.
Mister Mittens stood in the living room and made some kind of Germanic gutteral "purr" over and over.
I know bugle calls from the Marine Corps and now I'm starting to learn cat calls. She was calling her kittens to make sure they were OK. They all woke up and wobbled out from their "dens" to go see their mother.
She licked them all and then went down to feed them:
