I laundered a comforter and laid it out on the leather sectional at the downstairs saloon but that was just an open invite for the cats to build a Nap Nest.

Shiloh is truly a Pretzel Princess

Shiloh and Trouble are never far apart.

Nap time today was upstairs. Yeah, Shiloh and her brother Trouble are close.

Sleeping in the day so they can play at night!

You ain't kidding about the nighttime galloping. And also the pre-dawn attacks for breakfast.

I wish I had the video. Shiloh was perched on the armrest of the Castro as Trouble was clawing his way up the side. When he got near the top she'd reach over and bap him on the head with a front paw to knock him away. He quit after the fifth bap to the noggin and flop to the floor. That little fluff lady is all cat.

When I see scenes like this and understand that these wonderful creatures have a home and people taking care of them who love them and are giving them a shot at a long happy life as just being a cat I feel OK about myself and the bride. The two old dog lovers and owners are happy to share our home with them. Their mother has made a fine transition to a housecat instead of being a young female roaming the streets at the mercy of every tomcat she might run into. Jeez, that guy Trouble knows how to stretch out and sleep after a fine lunch.
