Wooley asked about where the Momcat hangs out and I posted that Mister Mittens has lots of places to hang out all over the house. Tonight Trouble and Shiloh are at the downstairs saloon for play and galloping around.

For the first time in a while Mister Mittens decided to lay out where her kittens usually do - on the Castro upstairs.

The Momcat will no longer offer a nipple to her kittens but she will play with them and groom them. And back off a food dish if her kittens are hungry to let them feed.

But Mister Mittens knows deep down in her feline heart via Mother Nature that her job is done as a mother. Tonight she came upstairs to lay out and be away from the young ones.

Oh...she looks so peaceful and content napping there...what a nice cat.

Probably is not much removed from being a kitten herself...but she found a safe place in the world when she met "the poles".
