Everytime I see Shiloh and Trouble napping together I am simply amazed about the sleep habits of sibling cats. You cannot stage this. Shiloh knows what a pillow is for. These two creatures are sound asleep.

They are blessed to have you and each other.

No pix but earlier today little Shiloh was flat on her back while her mother straddled her. Mister Mittens was biting at her throat and clawing at her belly while Shiloh was fighting back with swats, legs flying, and teeth.
Nobody got hurt and afterwards they were grooming one another.
This was a mother teaching her kitten how to defend herself. The claws were always in, the teeth never got through any skin.
I am absolutely fascinated about how cats interact in a family environment. Dogs are done with their pups after weaning. Mother cats seem to stay with their kids. Mister Mittens is OK with the two kittens that were adopted but she's still very close to the two I have here. No way no how would I ever let Mister Mittens, Shiloh, and Trouble be separated now. The wife loving them is huge - sometimes when the bride naps on a weekend she has three cats in the bed with her for some sleep.

Later on today I caught Shiloh sleeping on her back in my wife's bed.
I petted Shiloh's fluffy white chest. Her eyes half-opened.
I petted her belly. Her eyes full-opened.
I think I only need about 9 stitches from what happened next.
