She should be sleeping this afternoon.

Instead she's running all over the house, giving death bites to the throat of her sleeping brother (and pissing him off), jumping into my lap and swatting at me with claws in, and galloping up and down the stairs like a white blur. When you can catch her to pet her she rubs up against you and mews with happiness. Then she gallops off again like a small kid just happy to be alive.

This is abnormal cat behavior - she should be sleeping at 2 in the afternoon like her mother and brother are.

I'm too busy getting my ass kicked at Aqueduct to take pictures but that little girl cat is something to see.

Depleted of energy at 2:45 p.m., sweet little Shiloh came upstairs to my PC desk, said hello with a "mew" and a hip wiggle and then crashed on the Castro and on the comforter and next to my old ragged flannel shirt that the cats like. Shiloh is the toughest and liveliest 4-and-one-quarter pound girl I haver met.

Dr. Wallach said that Trouble is a beautifully marked Domestic Short Hair but that Shiloh is showing the genetic mix that probably started when one of her ancestors was chasing mice in the Garden of Eden.

Ugly is the last word I would use to describe lovely Shiloh

I'm with BL - that little runt-of-the-litter cat has a ton of heart and my wife and I adore her. If left on the street she'd no doubt be gone by now but Shiloh has a shot to live a long life at my house. She and Trouble get their rabies shot and second worm medication on November 20th.

After that, Mr. Mittens, Trouble, and Shiloh are going to be scheduled for surgery to be neutered.

On her first trip away from home Dr. Wallach took her out of the cat carrier and she sat on the exam table, stared at Dr. Wallach, and gave him her complete trust for an exam and a distemper shot. He told me that she was a wonderful little girl cat with a great disposition, just like her mother Mister Mittens.

The wife is home and she told her son 1/8 Pole to never say bad words about Shiloh again.
