A friend of a friend loves to go to tracks and take photos, you should see her other shots of the race,,as good as any pro.. That's my baby "Lani" |

She was being saddled for her first race, went off at 4-5 in open company at Philly Park and lost while pinned on rail and couldn't catch winner who cost $335K, next race had Jara on her back (no comment) and she had so much heart to pass 2 in stretch while injured (hind end, foot, ankle) for 3rd at Delaware Park..resting at farm of partner for a spring campaign. (she wants to go back to track but that's too bad..  )She is by Freud (my favorite stallion at the moment  )

She's a beautiful girl, Mama! I know you're proud, hope she make a fine recovery. Like those Freuds a lot, especially on grass. |

In the mornings she would lie down when she was going to be saddled until she got a CARROT,,,we were holding our breath and had her saddled outdoors for more control,,it looks like she's smirking and to us she was thinking,,should I or shouldn't I lie down (she didn't, thank goodness) It was John Servis horse who caused havoc |
