Came into to the world at Good Samaritin Hospital in Troy, NY. Both it and I are still standing.
Look forward to Oak Tree "11" this year, and we'll celebrate with a 11 AM lunch nearby the 7 furlong chute, where I painted the rail every July. Pay check was $52. a week, which included a $2. bill which went directly to the windows. The other bill was a brand new $50. bill...seemed like a thousand at the time.
Remember Stymie, Native Dancer, the Jacobs family, especially the lovely Patrice and Mr. Vanderbilt's cookies on the backstretch.

I was born in Good Samaritan Hospital in Brooklyn on February 15th and that place is gone.
