Usually the cats crash for the afternoon in the den or on my wife's bed but they understand that I'm home alone and am usually an "easy touch". The tomcat Trouble crashed on my recliner and his sister Shiloh is never far away. She's perched above him to stay close. That pink and grey thing on the table is a steel-toothed cat fur brush.
The momcat usually prefers to sleep the afternoon away as a solo and she crapped out on the upstairs Castro just behind my recliner.
Earlier today Shiloh was hunkered down next to my recliner while landscaper noise was rattling the house and had the cats scattered. She's staring at her window perch but won't go to it. OK, I need to sweep, dust, vacuum, and stop being a slob and I do that whenever my man cave environment starts bugging me. My wife won't come up here without wearing a Hazmat suit and having all her shots current.
