The momcat Mister Mittens usually only comes upstairs just before dawn to bother me in my bed with pawing and head butts and stares in order to get me up to serve breakfast.

Tonight she crashed on the Castro up with me. When I went to pet her she latched onto my right hand with her two fronts with extended claws but didn't dig them in. I glared at her. She was lying on her side and then shot out the claws from her back legs.

I caught the message that she didn't want anybody touching her.
