The tomcat Trouble scared the crap out of me a little while ago when he galloped upstairs screaming and fighting and almost exhausted. He got himself tangled in a fold-up mesh laundry bag.

I picked him up and put him on the bed but just had to snap a photo before I helped him out. He knew I was helping him when I scrunched him to get a leg and his head out of the bag handle. He never complained and sighed with joy when free.

 Ya know the old proverb... Curiosity killed the cat!

Cats are smart and Trouble won't do that again.

That huge tomcat mummy is a nice animal, Wooley.

This morning after breakfast the big lug came upstairs to bug me while I was getting dressed. I petted him but that wasn't good enough so I picked picked him up and tossed him upon my bed. I played with him and roughed him up and rubbed him all over while he squirmed with joy without ever laying out a claw or opening his jaws.

He's just a nice fellow. A big mush.

Out on the street with his gonads back he would probably be a different tom but Trouble has a shot for a long happy life as a beloved house cat.

DG, he's a good guy. If you pet him on his head or ears while he's walking by he'll warble with joy and lie down with his eyes closed, expecting nothing but some good rubs down his side.
