Pictures of what I assume was a warning that we need to take this Rapture thing seriously.

 That's frightening stuff, Arrow. Are you okay?

No one was injured. Missed my house by a block and my mom's house by a few yards. Lost power and I had no idea how bad it was until my son phoned. Warned me not to try driving cause the traffic was backed up for miles. It missed the Hospital just barely. The sirens went off in time and amazingly everyone paid attention. We did have a dry run back in April when we got tennis ball size hail. That time I was out walking the dog. Fastest 5 furlongs I ever ran. We really are lucky compared to Joplin. Same line of storms hit them but the path made all the difference.

Glad you're all OK, Arrow. These things are getting far, far too common. Horrifying stuff. One's life, as the residents of Joplin know--can change in less than 45 seconds.

Rapture is drinking beer and playing the horses all day when your wife is home and she leaves you be.

Glad arrow and her loved ones are OK.

Just a quiet reminder of just how insignificant we are. Glad that you came out of it ok.

Bad things can miss good people by not a lot of time or distance.

Good people and bad people can be blown away dead in a heartbeat.

Ain't nobody born that comes with a time guarantee.

I'm thrilled that arrow and her loved ones are A-OK.

Ditto to that!

Glad arrow and family escaped destruction...

I remember watching "old, midwest dustbowl" movies from the 30/40's where everyone ran to the " underground storm cellar" when a twister was expected. Guess "storm cellars" went out of vogue...Joplin's people could have used them...that is tornedo alley.
