I screwed up yesterday by letting my cats outside unfettered, unharnessed, and free to roam.

I don't want BL, Wooley, or Arrow or any other cat lover to be chasing me with sticks and bats because I got a wonderful housecat splashed by an automobile in front of my home.

The young ones have the hunger to be outside now and they cannot handle it as docile neutered housecats with no street experience.

Yup, I screwed up yesterday - I had good intentions with the cats I love but they belong inside. Even the formally feral Momcat ran around the fence last night she used to leap with ease before her belly got filled three times a day and she put some weight on.

One lives and one learns.

This is where the huge gentle tomcat belongs.

He's got the run of the house with his mother and sister and has no need to be outside.

No harm no foul

Your intentions are good.

Trouble was fine with the cat harness on if he wants another "walk around the park".

My wife comes home every night after a 70-mile round trip to Wall Street and lays out "cat treats" before she thinks about unwinding or tossing off the business suit or even peeing. The cats leap and mew for joy when she pulls into the driveway.

Most nights one will find a cat or two snoring alongside her in bed with their claws in like I did when I was young.

Oh yeah, we hate the cats in my house.
